Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information DashDuel ("we," "us," or "our") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the DashDuel app (the "App"), you agree to this Policy. DashDuel is intended only for users 18 and older.
Information We Collect

| Contacts (optional) | If you choose to find friends from contacts, phone numbers are matched in a privacy preserving way to surface people who already use DashDuel. We never expose anyone's phone number to other users. |
| Purchases | Records of in app gem purchases (which pack, when). Payment is handled by Apple; we do not receive your card details. |
| Usage and device data | App events (for example, opening the app, joining a tournament), app version, and a device advertising identifier used for measuring advertising performance. |
Apple Health Data
Your Apple Health data is used solely to run your competitions. We never sell it, never use it for advertising or marketing, and never share it with data brokers. It is shared only as needed to compute and display competition results to you and the participants in your duels and tournaments. We do not store Apple Health data in iCloud.
How We Use Information
- To operate the App: create duels and tournaments, compute results from your steps, and show standings.
- To connect you with friends you choose to add.
- To process and credit in app purchases.
- To understand how the App is used and to improve it.
- To measure the performance of advertising campaigns that bring new users to DashDuel.
- To keep the App safe and enforce our Terms.
Service Providers We Use
We share limited data with trusted providers who process it on our behalf:
- Supabase hosts our database and accounts.
- Apple provides Apple Health access, in app purchases, and push notifications.
- RevenueCat processes in app purchase receipts.
- PostHog provides product analytics (how features are used).
- AppsFlyer provides advertising attribution and measurement.
Advertising and Identifiers
We use a device advertising identifier and Apple's privacy preserving SKAdNetwork to measure which advertising campaigns lead to installs. We do not use your Apple Health data for advertising. Depending on your iOS settings and your response to the App Tracking Transparency prompt, you can limit the use of your advertising identifier.
We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your Apple Health data for advertising.
Data Retention and Deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings). Deleting your account removes your profile and associated data, including friendships, duels, and tournament entries, subject to limited records we may retain to comply with law or prevent abuse.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can exercise deletion directly in the App, or contact us for other requests.
Security
We use industry standard measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
Children's Privacy
DashDuel is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
